Air India had last week decided to cap airfares from Delhi to Srinagar, Jammu and Leh at Rs 5,000 for all passengers. It had also waived date change charges up to first week of March for armed and paramilitary forces personnel. Other airlines also waived date change charges for soldiers since they were to report to their posts after a break.
