Air India grounds commander for Sydney ‘shoplifting’

A senior Air India pilot has been suspended after he allegedly shoplifted at Sydney duty free on Saturday (June 22) just before he was to operate a flight to Delhi. He is learnt to have told the airline management that he “was elated receiving this news at the airport and in the sense of euphoria inadvertently picked up something without realising I had not paid for it.”
