India has improved its rankings on the Global Innovation Index (GII). It is now ranked 52nd, a jump of over five places from the last year. Since 2015, India has risen consistently in the GII rankings. In 2015, it ranked 81st but climbed to 66th position the next year. In 2017, it further jumped to six places. Here's a look.
