In a season of slowdown, top engineering colleges and deemed universities in Tamil Nadu have registered 20% to 30% rise in campus placements compared to last year, mostly by IT and IT product firms. The good news is that the companies are now turning their attention to engineering colleges in tier-2 cities in the state as well.
