Government eyes curbs on toys, TV set imports

The government may impose import curbs on toys and some electronic goods, such as TV sets, as part of a strategy to promote domestic manufacturing and value addition. Separately, it is thinking of ways to reduce dependence on palm oil and promote the production and use of other edible oil.
