Sensex Falls 1,000 Points, Nifty Near 8,300 As Financial Stocks Drag Markets

At 11:30 am, the Sensex was at 28,452,weaker by 1,026 points or 3.5 per cent andNifty was at 8,300, down 300points or 3.5 per cent.
