Facebook eyes e-commerce with ‘Shops’ initiative

Amid the pandemic, Facebook is making a push into e-commerce with an initiative named Facebook Shops. The company said this will allow small businesses to set up shops on Facebook and Instagram, where they can upload their catalogue. A user can then complete a transaction within Facebook without the need to go outside of the platform.
